How does the subscription work?
The AlphaBet Journal is a monthly snail mail club delivering a monthly mailing of a personal letter, original art, and collectibles straight to your mailbox. Choose a 1, 6, or 12-month plan, and a new mailer will arrive at the beginning of each month. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled.
What's in each mailer?
Each month has its own theme expressed in a personal letter, postcard-sized original artwork, collectible mantra, journal prompt, and special surprise that changes each month. Every piece is personally designed and chosen — no two months are the same
When will my mailer ship?
Mailers go out the first of every month.
When do I need to place my order?
You can place an order any time. Orders received by the 15th of the month will be sent on the 1st of the following month. For example, if you place an order anytime between the 1st and 15th of May, your subscription will start on June 1st. In this example, orders placed any time between May 16th and May 31st would start your subscription on July 1st.
Can I get a gift subscription?
Yes! At checkout, select "Yes" under "Is this a gift?" and include a personal message in the Order Notes field at checkout. We'll take care of the rest!
Please note: If you're using the Shop or Apple Pay apps, the Order Notes field might not appear. In that case, please email us at tracekingsley@thealphabetj.com with your order # and gift message and we'll be sure to include it.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship internationally! Please note that international shipping times may vary depending on your location.
How do I know if you're able to ship to my country?
Before placing an order, please verify that your country does not have any active trade sanctions that would prevent delivery. If you're unsure, a quick search for your country's import restrictions is a good place to start. If your order cannot be fulfilled due to shipping restrictions, we'll reach out to you directly.
How do I cancel or pause my subscription?
You can manage your subscription — including cancellations and pauses — directly through your account. Log in, navigate to your subscription, and select the option that works best for you. Need help? Reach out to us and we'll help you sort it out.
